Recorder Program: 4th Grade and Beyond

Since the recorder is one of two ensemble opportunities for our K-8 school, I am developing a recorder program beyond the 4th grade. This year the 5th graders are playing a two-part "Ode To Joy" arrangement that was introduced at state convention. In addition, the alto recorder was offered as an option to the class. Some materials were available, and easy arrangements will be composed this summer to keep the students involved in 6th grade.
